Docks Expo 2026: Slammer Marine dock fender protecting a blue yacht hull along a marina dock

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Our live demonstration at Booth 323, Music City Center in Nashville, will showcase our patented Slammer Integrated Dock Fender® and its DIY installation.

HOUSTON, TEXAS — November 6, 2026 — We will display our patented modular dock fender systems at Docks Expo 2026 in Nashville, Tennessee. The show runs December 1–3 at Music City Center, and we invite marina owners, operators, dock builders, and engineers to visit us at Booth 323 throughout the show. We will also hold a live product demonstration on Thursday, December 3, at 10:15 a.m.

During the demonstration, we will show how our Slammer® system mounts to a dock face on a continuous aluminum or polymer track. Individual fenders can be installed, removed, serviced, or replaced in minutes, and the rest of the fender run stays undisturbed. Visitors can also handle the closed-cell foam core and the heavy-duty, marine-grade coated cover, and see how we configure the system for each dock face, corner, and piling.

The Slammer track mounts directly to the dock face with a standard drill. We will walk through the full DIY installation at Booth 323.

“Docks Expo brings together the people who design, build, and run the marinas we serve, and there is no better way to show what Slammer does than to put it in their hands,” said Jonathan Hough, our founder and CEO. “We would especially like to meet dock manufacturers. A fender track that is integrated at the factory gives every new dock built-in protection from day one, and gives marina operators and dock owners one less thing to retrofit.”

An Award-Winning Dock Fender System

Our dock-mounted fender system, originally introduced under our former name, StormFender, earned an Innovation Award in the Docking & Fendering Equipment category at the 2015 Miami International Boat Show. The awards are presented annually by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and Boating Writers International (BWI), and our system was the only entry designed for both individual boat owners and professionally run marinas, fuel docks, and yacht clubs.

Built for the Busiest Parts of a Marina

Our fenders currently serve marinas, yacht clubs, and private docks across 35 states, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Bermuda. We designed the system for the highest-demand areas of a marina, including fuel docks, launch docks, forklift launch wells, dry-stack staging areas, and service slips, where vessel traffic is heaviest and dock contact never lets up. A continuous, cushioned surface shields hulls and docks alike and gives dockhands and boaters a critical margin of error in close quarters.

Our fenders come in six colors and custom lengths from 24 inches to 15 feet, so your facility can match the look of its docks while still getting consistent, engineered protection. You can preview your setup with our fender configurator.
